After 8 years working at Silverado Beverly Place in Los Angeles, I can safely say that I can't imagine working anywhere else. The level of support from our home office and between community leadership members is extraordinary. The home office is committed to giving us the tools necessary to properly care for a vulnerable population. We simply need to take advantage of every tool that we have and honor the mission.

Cons

Work-life balance can be challenging, but this is what I signed up for. Caring for human beings doesn't always involve a schedule. Sometimes long hours are involved, but boy is it worth it

This has been the best place I have ever worked at. It really did feel like a second home to me. Caregivers, the Housekeeping/Maintenance team and Management really care about the residents and their families. There are excellent caregivers and many staff that has been working there for more than 10+ years.

Cons

My time there was mostly positive, I really miss working there. If I ever move back to SD county I would definitely go back to Silverado Encinitas!!
