Pros

Safety is a huge priority in the manufacturing facilities. If you show up on time, work hard, stay positive and prove you can add value this company will give you opportunities to move up into better roles.

Cons

The pay isn't as good as I feel it should be.

Pros

You receive training on unique equipment; CNC and Robotic Cutters. Decent pay for the industry, plus insurance and a retirement plan. There also is an opportunity to further your education.

Cons

Not all associates are offered a chance for personal growth. It all depends who is assessing you. Some office personnel feel they are above you. The expectations between the shifts are not standard and uniform.

Pros

Worked with decent people. Thats pretty much it, im typing this to reach the twenty word minimum. Ive heard it was better before fortune brands bought the company.

Cons

The workload is out of control for the pay. New bonus structure allows bonuses to be adjusted by managers, which allows management to punish workers they don't "like". Steer clear of this company if you're just starting your career; the pay will be easily beaten by any company in columbus. If you want zero accountability and you want to coast until retirement, simonton is for you.
