Think twice before taking a position with this company. There is virtually or physically zero training and they expect you to learn through osmosis. I have been in the business for over 20 years and found this to be extremely frustrating. If you don't know how to do something, they will blame it on you and don't you dare get a disability. They will find a way to get you out of there faster than you can say the word "go". No professionalism, ethics, digital knowledge on a local level and ridiculous expectations for a network that has seen better days. I honestly can say it was one of the most negative experiences I have ever had in the business. If you enjoy micromanagement, this gig is for you! Save yourself!

99% of this companies problems start In Baltimore. SBG is riddled with greed and destructive corporate behavior. Egotistical jerks destroyed the company years ago . The current regime is a nasty group of racist white men. Local management is forced to crawl on their knees and kiss the ring. There are zero upsides to working here. Aspiring News professionals should avoid. Veteran professionals should know better... believe the hype, this company is NOT worth losing your dignity. SBG has been hit with historical fines from the FCC in recent years for their nefarious business dealings.....the stations pay the ultimate price for their arrogant, idiotic dealings.
