      network affiliation location (could also be a con, VA is a right to work state, see shamefully low pay below)

      The content and accuracy of the news product are not valued by management on the program I produce. Extremely poor IT security practices, poor internal communication, no structured training. Poor workflows. Excessive meetings. Employees are expected to answer emails and work-related calls at off-hours including days off but are expected to use their own mobile devices (see again poor IT security practices) Pay is very low... shamefully low. Morale is very low.

      Little micromanagement Work from home Very few pros about this corporation.

      - Hiring in India (in order to pay less in a different country) - Low Job Security - Little growth opportunity/opportunities - Doesn't tell you why when you mess up what the cost is/why it matters This is an evil company. They use shell corporations to create monopolies under the guise of "local news" when in reality all of the news stations are under one political agenda. It's awful what it does to it's nearest and dearest city Baltimore, creating fear-mongering and lies. In actuality news is possibly more important than the actual reality of the story itself. Peoples perceptions are malleable and this corporation does exactly that, manipulates the publics perception of the world around them to feed their agenda.

      Corporate GREED!!! Corporate micromanagers, bias corporate news agenda, unrealistic budgets, sexism, racism, favoritism, rock bottom pay, news departments led by fear, constantly asking more from news staff with less people.... the list goes on and on. Basically, this company is crap from the top down. Do yourself a favor and take your talents and hard work elsewhere!
