      Pros

      Insurance, PTO, & pay are all good (which is why I personally rate it 2 stars instead of 1)...however, that only goes so far when your team has no cohesion and you're not apart of anything whatsoever. Since being forced to WFH, it's been showing all of the cracks within various teams, and it's transparently obvious that a ton of folks have been coasting.

      Cons

      Upper management either is out of the picture, or has no patience to work with you. No trust between teams, no open communication, and it feels like you're walking on eggshells with whoever you talk to. Too many people are only here for a paycheck. Not only that, but I have never seen upward growth - you're more or less stuck in the position for years until you jump ship for something better.

      Pros

      Sinclair has excellent insurance and 401K benefits. The newsroom I worked in was very cohesive and very passionate about their craft.

      Cons

      Leadership on the local level was not great. Despite a mission statement, there was no clear direction on how to execute the brand. Use of the open door policy more often than not led to termination.
