Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. We really appreciate the positive feedback. We are truly happy that you are enjoying the great atmosphere at our London office, including our awesome (and relatively new) collaboration space! Open communication is very important to us and it's good to hear that that is something you recognise. Thanks also for acknowledging the training at SiteMinder. Opportunity to grow and develop is a key focus for us in line with our career pathways enabling employees to grow their careers at SiteMinder. Thanks again! Anna Kennedy (HRD, EMEA)

Glorified Call Center

Pros

1. They always pay on time at the end of each month. 2. You don’t need any particular background, education or skills to do most jobs at SiteMinder.

Cons

Disclaimer: The following is based solely on my personal experience and opinions during my time at the company. 1. The company feels like a glorified call center. 2. Over the years, most skilled people have left for better opportunities. 3. I think resignations are not handled well. 4. Many of the remaining employees seem to stay only because they have no other options or lack experience in other roles. 5. Job titles are vague and don’t carry meaning outside the company. Some people who have been there for nearly 10 years list these titles on LinkedIn as if they define their entire identity — but in reality, those titles mean almost nothing to anyone outside SiteMinder. 6. SiteMinder is relatively unknown, which can raise questions when applying elsewhere. 7. Some roles are labeled as “technical,” but involve very minimal actual technical work — often just typing a few commands into a terminal. 8. As in every typical call center, you’ll frequently have to deal with difficult and frustrating customers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and I’m sorry to hear that your experience was a negative one. It would be great to understand more about your experience and the feedback that you've provided. While we recognise there’s always more we can do to support the growth and development of our people, we’ve seen many employees progress into new roles and responsibilities across the business. Internal moves and promotions happen regularly, and we’re focused on building stronger pathways for up skilling and long term career development. We also understand that each individual’s reasons for leaving SiteMinder are personal and varied. We've seen many of our employees grow into their careers with us over several years and we fully support those who choose to move on when they feel ready for a new challenge. Regarding job titles, we strive for consistency and alignment with market standards, even for specialised roles. It's also unfortunate to hear that you believe SiteMinder is relatively unknown. SiteMinder is a well respected leader especially within the hospitality and tech industry. Many of our employees have successfully transitioned to roles in other organisations and we are also continuing to focus on building our external brand presence to support both our business and the long-term career prospects of our people. Thank you again for your honest review and please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly to chat through your feedback in more detail. Regards, Sophia Satta

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback! Great to hear you find SiteMinder a great place to work. I'm sorry to hear you believe our salary is not competitive. We continuously review our compensation structure against industry benchmarks to remain competitive. Each year, we undergo a thorough benchmarking process using multiple market data sources as well as our internal TA team to ensure fairness and competitiveness. I'd welcome you to reach out to myself or someone in the HR team to understand this process and approach in more detail. We also want to make sure you feel supported regarding your workload, so I encourage you to speak with your manager about how we can better support you and help prioritise your workload. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review. Kind regards, Sophia Lead HR Business Partner
