Pros

It a decent first job.

Cons

I feel it under pays because all the workers are mostly teens and college students. There is always so much drama but what do u expect with a bunch of teenagers.

TOXIC WORKPLACE

Pros

It's near San Francisco but seriously work anywhere else.

Cons

Six Flags is a deeply corrupt employer who does not care about their animals or their employees. They have an extremely high turnover rate because the workplace environment really brings down mora./employees are not treated well or valued. I have since moved on to a better zoo to work at because this workplace was extremely toxic/hostile/the management is very dishonest. I saw so many disgusting corrupt things happen while working here it was unbelievable. There is NO support for work life balance. Although animal care is a more demanding career than others, even if you ask for it/need it for some reason expect to experience discrimination in the workplace. The pay is very low/employees are overworked because there isn't enough staff/benefits are not good. I wish I could warn every person who fills out an application for this awful place. All Six Flags cares about is money and profit. They don't deserve quality employees or beautiful animals. Please don't support this organization.

Pros

Do you like to SWEAT?

Cons

Literally the worst job I ever had never work for them. Mediocre pay, breaks were 30 mins but you had to walk 10 to get to the cafeteria so really you only had a ten minute break, dirty, overall unpleasant. Would constantly schedule me under federally mandate hours to receive a break but keep me over time anyway
