Strict rules almost militant in terms of uniform code and hair/mustache length. For example you cant have a mustache below your lip. Low pay mimimum wage($8) in CA. They dont give you a paycheck but make you open a temporary direct deposit account with them. Lots of teenagers work there that get put in positions of trust. Like driving huge buses. Its weird seeing an 18 yr old being given that responsibility. Working in the parking lot you are assigned several tasks in a shift. First the employees jump in a pickup truck which is very uncomfortable on your back and bottom side. There were about 7 -8 employees in the back of the truck so it gets crowded. They use the truck to drive everyone to their work stations in the parks parking lot. Like being a crossing guard/going around the parking lot and emptying out the trash can bags & rolling them in trash cans to a trash compactor. The trash cans are very heavy. There are about 30 trash cans in the parking lot/Watching customer pets in a kennel/Charging customers for parking in a toll booth with no fan or air conditioning./Guiding cars to park/watching designated parking areas for rv's & motorcycles/If you want to drive a bus you are given a 75 cent raise. I had to get a DMV driving record at the DMV & waited 2 hrs & they charged me $7. Its a tough way to make a living so i would recommend working in another area in the park. During summer they do mass hiring of anyone with open availability because they want you to work 8pm-6am for grad nights. I would recommend you apply with a 9am-5pm availability to have a normal work day.
