Pros

Training in Florida. Great coworkers. It's a pretty easy job with a great base pay. If you are in college it's a great thing because you can grow.

Cons

Needs Better management. No way to move up if you don't have a degree. If you don't like sales the job is not for you.

We are pleased to hear that you appreciate many aspects of your position with Sixt! We pride ourselves on creating a great work environment that also proves to be rewarding for all employees. To address your concern, there are plenty of opportunities to grow within Sixt without a degree. Starting out at an entry level position like Customer Service Associate or Rental Sales Agent for instance, will allow you to learn the business from the ground up and then based off of performance you can move all the way up through management. Finally, although the Rental Sales Agent position is focused on sales, we provide full training and techniques on a continuous basis to build sales skills. Our main focus is finding employees dedicated to customer service and everything else is taught. We wish you the best of luck with your career with Sixt. We would encourage you to reach out to your Branch Manager about growth opportunities in Arizona. If you have any additional concerns to discuss or even to inquire about advancement please reach out to HR at 954-874-1793.

Pros

Fun people, clear salary structure, and approachable management. Over all it feels good working here. We stand out as a brand and can offer customers great cars at good prices.

Cons

Sales Managers are hard pressed to increase sales and the expectations are unreasonable for nearly all locations. You feel judged at every step and don't look forward to your next sales performance review; which happen every month. The goal is to always be above your branches average; It doesn't take a genius to figure out that about half of the people will not make the cut. The management is a bit removed from the day-to-day activity and does not always understand what is going on. The people that wash/service/bring us the cars have no idea what cars we need and often take a very long time bringing what we need. This results in negative customer reports, which lowers our commission.

As your current employer, we thank you for taking the time to review us! We are excited to know that you have a positive outlook on the company and appreciate the friendly environment and approachable management team at your location. To address your concern, if you are struggling with sales goals we encourage you to reach out to your designated Regional Sales Performance Manager or Branch Manager. Our team has an open door policy and is there to help coach all employees and bring you into success on a monthly basis. Although meeting sales goals is important to us, the satisfaction of the customer should always come first. For each branch we have set forth a different commission structure and assigned goals based off of the market. Due to this, we feel that the goals set forth for each location are obtainable. If you have any additional concerns that you would like to discuss anonymously please reach out to Gaddy Fernandez, our VP of HR. You can reach her at 954-874-1793. We wish you continued success with Sixt!

Its a job...

Pros

Decent pay. When the neccessary tools are available to do job properly not a very hard job.

Cons

Turn over rate is laughable... funny thing is it was bad when I got hired and almost keep me from doing my interview. The necessary tools are usually not available so job is way to stressful for the pay. Go in thinking a new company that looks cool and great to work for will eventually see the truth and either just stick thought it to pay your bills and hate going to work everyday or... quit... To many specific cons to list them all at this point. Company is constantly worried about the wrong things and not what the customers complain about and want to RSAs who dont have the much power to change things. Constant policy changes about irrelevant things or about stuff that makes our job harder.

Thank you for your review! We are pleased that you feel that the pay is beneficial for you. We strive to ensure that all employees are provided with the best possible training and management support to complete their jobs effectively. Our Regional Sales Performance Mangers are available to help RSA’s combat tough situations at the counter and Branch Managers have an open door policy as well. We encourage employees to take advantage of both of these resources if they are struggling or if interested in growth opportunities. Being a start-up in the U.S. we are constantly evolving in order to provide the best 5-star quality service for our customers. Although it may cause more work for our branch employees, we hope that our customers are consistently satisfied and “wow-ed” by our service every time they return. Likewise, those employees that have exceptional service and performance are considered for higher level positions. It is important to master your role and meet certain qualifications before moving to the next level, however, countless employees have moved up the ranks quickly due to their passion for Sixt! Of course, we are concerned to hear that you mentioned you do not have the necessary tools to complete your role accordingly. We would encourage you to reach out to Gaddy Fernandez (VP of HR) directly to discuss your concerns at your branch. You can reach her at 954-874-1793.
