      Pros

      Great paid benefits (medical/dental). State retirement. Annual pay increases. Great PTO benefits. Small tight knit group providing a valuable service to the community. Flexible schedules.

      Cons

      Not really a con but sometimes because it's a small group of people you can from time to time put in extra hours when the need arises, but your compensated for that.

      Terrible management

      The work itself was the only pro

      Cons

      The management was terrible. The director Helen, has no clue how to run a dispatch center and the supervisors were jokes. They fell asleep on the job, had insane personal drama constantly that prevented them from doing their work, were inexperienced and had zero skills to supervise or lead anyone. I have worked at other centers and can confidently say the quality of dispatcher here is atrocious. The officers and firefighters hate them and they have been sued multiple times.
