Pros

The company’s leadership really listens to employee feedback. As a new person, everyone has been generous with their time and offering opportunities to help when needed. The remote / hybrid work structure is nice because it allows flexibility when I need it. They care about COVID-19 and do a lot to make sure employees feel safe. I like that they have community outreach and focus on diversity.

Cons

I think there are growing pains like all companies have when there is new leadership and but it seems to me that things are much better than before the new CEO came aboard.

Our new CEO is driving a culture that emphasizes technology and reconsiders how we work in 2020, while focusing on enhancing communication within the company and improving results in all lines of business. The energy is high and it's an exciting time to work for HIIG.

Cons

Some may see change as stressful rather than exciting . We moved out of a couple of lines of business, but that should be over now.
