Pros

Benefits that cost the same across the board; too much for the lower paid operators.

Cons

Poor treatment of their drones. Unless you work 60 hrs per week, the pay is adequate. Unreasonable point system, wastes money on non-essential items while failing to provide what’s necessary. 12 hour shifts, makes you work ALL holidays including Thanksgiving, and Christmas, no advancement unless you’re a minority, low morale.

Not unlike other fab/manufacturing facilities, Skyworks operates on 12 hour shifts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It recognizes this schedule may be challenging and not a good fit for everyone. Skyworks sincerely appreciates its talented, global workforce for the meaningful contributions they make each and every day. As always, Skyworks further encourages its employees to discuss any work concerns with their manager and/or local HR representative.

Pros

-Positive financial outlook -Job stability -Continued growth

Cons

-Abusive management -Toxic workplace -No work/life balance - managers don't hesitate to call you when you're out of office when something urgent comes up, which is often. Some people get stuck working weekends often. -Micromanaging is common -Because the company runs lean, you are often stuck in the group you get hired in -Health benefit options are high deductible only -Finger pointing when things go wrong I've been told it hasn't always been like this, just that the last 3 years or so things have been going downhill with the increased workload. This may not be the right time to join the company.

Thank you for providing feedback about your experience. While everyone’s personal experience is different, Skyworks offers employees a challenging and exciting work environment and believes it is an excellent place to build a meaningful career. Further, we recognize that the pace and speed of innovation in our industry is extremely fast and not ideal for every individual. Skyworks encourages communication with management when issues arise and expects employees to speak with their supervisor and/or local Human Resources representative to address any workplace concerns.

Pros

The plant emphasizes a lot on employee engagement and is continuously improving its practices to promote team bonding. The HR team did a great job in making changes by incorporating best practices from the local scene into the company.

Cons

The bonus payout criteria is very stringent.
