Helps to develop troubleshooting and communication skills. Also a great way to learn more about the semiconductor industry.

Cons

Long shifts (twelve hours), minimal formal training, and expected to work any holiday that falls on your schedule. HR lies and says that the company closes for the week of Christmas, but you will be expected to work. Was told that there would be opportunities to be more involved in the engineering side of things but it was an empty promise.
