Great that culture and core values stand out, even as we scale internationally. You’ve called it right on the growing pains for our business as we go global. Having seen it from my role as the first country leader for Slalom outside of North America I can say Slalom has learned and grown so much in this area over the past 5 years…and that we have so much more to do! It’s an incredible task (and privilege) to create a global company – I’ve got so much respect for those companies who have travelled the journey and operate their businesses efficiently across countries/continents. Thanks for your advice on the global/local point – I do wonder about that topic myself! I love our local model, I think it differentiates Slalom from others and will work in countries outside the US. I’m also in awe of what we’re doing to connect our capabilities globally where it makes sense to best serve our clients and partners. We’re hoping to set a new standard for a company in our sector that is globally connected and yet hyper local for how we deliver and how we look after our people. Regarding the feedback about nationalities, I think one key factor in our success is international diversity at all levels. It’s amazing to be part of a 35 nationality team in Slalom UK and Ireland – and it’s also wonderful to have leaders in our business who have 18+ years of experience in Slalom that they can share with our people and our clients.
