Pros

Slalom cares about culture, community, work-life-balance and doing meaningful work. This initiative comes from the top-down which is refreshing in a company.

Cons

In my short tenure, I haven't come across any yet.

Pros

It is such a pleasure to work around so many intelligent, hardworking people who still maintain a focus on being inclusive and friendly. In my time at the company I have experienced a number of helpful trainings and encountered so many people who are willing to help when you ask. Great office location as well. The leaders work very hard to make sure that the work we do is interesting and fulfilling to their teams as well.

Cons

Not many. The company pays a lot of attention to the individual and where they want to work and what they want to learn.

Pros

Joined within last year to do meaningful work to follow inspiring leaders. The experience and the learning / coaching was fantastic. I was engaged on strategic engagements doing work that inspired me. The culture of the company is team first. Leaders were what I aspired to be. And I believed i had found the holy grail.

Cons

The leaders that I joined Los Angeles to work for left leaving a void in capabilities. The ability to sell and engage top executives to do strategy work is gone, The ability to develop complex solutions that are not core Slalom capabilities is gone. Having leaders that inspire and have that old school consulting swagger is gone. New leadership doesn't have vision. The office is reactionary and scrambling to get teams staffed. This is not what I signed up for.

This is John Tobin. I would love to talk to you more about your feedback. We did have some leadership changes in the LA market and our team is committed to winning and delivering complex engagements - as well as creating a team where everyone thrives. I definitely am hearing your feedback there and with change often creates opportunity - which I'm so confident we can take advantage of so much of the good Slalom has to offer. Please send me an email at johnt@slalom.com to set up a time to speak live about any of these items or other. Alternatively, if you’d like to share more feedback anonymously (and at any time), please consider doing so via this survey: http://slalom.ws/anonsurvey.
