      Pros

      Culture used to be great.

      Cons

      Once the business outlook went down, that translated into not being a people first company. A lot of the leaders at the GM level need to go. Make sure you aren’t being bait and switched, know what you are getting into. Very set in their ways and not going to change. You will be micromanaged and gaslit.

      Pros

      If you're very focused on working in Management Consulting/Tech Consulting, Slalom isn't a bad place to get started. Small company with small teams which is enjoyed by some people.

      Cons

      The company has a reputation of strong company culture. If you like to drink the kool-aid and eat, breathe, drink Slalom, then it is the right place for you. If you don't, it might set you back in your career at the company. Pay is below market value in essentially every single job/team at the company (client facing consulting or internal employee). Promotion's are hard to achieve and the process of being promoted is very out of your control.

      Pros

      Great people, good culture. If you’re on the consulting side, you’ll be given the resources to do your job and probably do interesting work.

      Cons

      If you’re an internal hire working in global services (not a consultant) you’ll be shortchanged on resources and treated as second class. Also, Slalom does NOT value wage transparency and the promotion process is secretive. Their written policies on these matters indicate otherwise and they have great messaging, but they are just empty words.
