Horrible Start Up gone terribly wrong
Pros
The pay is decent however not for the amount of work involved. Patient ambassadors are responsible for scheduling their own leads, seeing consultations, sales, some marketing, some operations, medical clearances (which no one else in the office helps with). When you look at the bigger picture, PAs should be paid way more. Not a TRUE SALES job. Getting commission is always a pro but not at 1%
Cons
- Having the person in charge of sales and expecting them to focus on sales while chasing down every surgery’s medical clearance is a disaster, then to get barked at when your not making sales because your doing medical clearances - no clean cut processes, everything and everyone is all over the place - HORRIBLE CULTURE the worse I have ever experienced - Doctors get away with talking disgusting to you and about you and patients (HR does not do anything!) - Patients hounding you for refunds the company takes forever to pay on - Always having to figure out how to cover up the illegal insurance billing (they take PPO insurance but the company will tell you to tell patients it’s full price with no insurance write offs)
