Good people, but still struggling after 20 years to find it's place in the the industry.

Pros

Nice, smart, dedicated staff. There is a very friendly atmosphere at SEPA.

Cons

At the end of the day the organization is largely superfluous. It's almost a charity or a status symbol for members. So it has to generate its own value, and it's always changing and finding new ways to do that. Each "pivot", they scrap the old plans, leaving the previous 6 months of work unfinished.

Pros

Good benefits. The work happening in the industry is exciting and important.

Cons

Favoritism factors a lot in advancement. Hard work does not get you ahead. The company's revenue streams are not COVID-resilient. There is almost no diversity.
