Good place for a starting job. Not a pleasant work enviorment though to say the least.

Pay is pretty good with decent hours. Employee discount is okay and benefits are good as well. If you're attending college Smart & Final does offer plenty of ways to help, including scholarship opportunities and reimbursement for classes and materials. The only catch is you gotta be there for 6 months.

Cons

NO flexibility for scheduling. If you're applying part-time, expect to be treated as a full-time employee when training is done. This is NOT a good work environment if you have anxiety issues. The front-end can be a pretty toxic environment depending on who is the person in charge throughout the day. Certain people in charge are disrespectful and intense.
