Pros

- Super exciting time to be part of SmartAsset - the company has more than doubled in size over the last year. - People are very smart and driven. - Great company mission to help people with personal finance. - Good work/life balance for most people.

Cons

- A 120+ person company is different than a 50 person company. There needs to be a lot more structure (but isn't always there yet). - Would be great to have more perks like 401k matching. - Office space is feeling strain of more employees, about time to move offices. - Could use more/healthier snacks.

Pros

SmartAsset has assembled a team of very smart and driven employees. The product that I work on has turned out to be in high demand and it’s rewarding to work on something that is relevant to so many people. The entire team is highly approachable and the company does a great job of managing a results-oriented culture while still making time for fun. Our Monday company meeting that highlights each team’s wins is incredibly motivating week after week.

Cons

The hiring standards are some of the toughest I’ve seen. This means important roles stay unfilled for longer than normal which results in some problems remaining unsolved for longer than they should.
