Pros

It feels like it's definitely the place to be right now at Smartsheet. A lot of build-up to what seems like going public or getting acquired. Upper management is enthusiastic and encouraging, and super transparent. The buzz seems to be speading with a new Boston office opening this year and an upcoming presence in EMEA.

Cons

With quick growth comes a lot of opinions on the strategy moving forward. It feels like some roles that should be more aligned may not be as in sync as they'd like to be, and prioritizing what's truly important and urgent is a struggle.

Feels like the right place to be at the right time

Pros

The product sells well. The salary and commission can be very good. You get the best computer hardware out there. Lots of room to climb the ladder if you work hard. Great training team and management team. The company is on the verge of going big.

Cons

Not everyone gets equal selling opportunity. As we grow the books of business get more and more fragmented. Those that have been here a while keep their best accounts and shuffle the rest. The early bird definitely got the worm. But that’s not to say that you won’t make money. Lots of newcomers are hitting their numbers or exceeding them. Attitude is everything, and a willingness to work hard goes a long way with management.
