Pros

The East Coast Team is amazing in the last 3 - 5 years Very collaborative, leadership tries to help get every deal close

Cons

Recent acquisition has made the company change quite a bit from pricing strategy, comp plans to management overall

Pros

Smartsheet gave the sales team a ton of resources to be successful. Management was also very supportive of the sales org and would help in any way they could to drive revenue and close deals.

Cons

The changes to the license model often strained relationships with customers. Also the redundancy in processes like forecasting, planning, etc. didn't add value to the team and wasted time.

Culture at Smartsheet Sucks

Pros

Mark Mader is one the best CEOs I have met and worked. However all the other OGs around him have left over the years and the new leaderships hasn't stepped up.

Cons

Company needs to go back to its roots where it was 6-8years ago. Product innovation hasn't happened over the last few years. We are selling the client the same product with cosmetic changes and asking them to adopt a new Licesning model may save the company temporarily however it could drive them out to the competition. I would hate to see that happen given Smartsheet has been associated with my life for severals years.
