Pros

Large, global corporation with lost of resources. Benefits are very good. Opportunities to move to other roles/departments are available, if you're willing to work for it. They are in the top 5 in the Wound Care market. It's good as a stepping stone to build some experience and move onto another company (5 years or less). Or, it's a good place to come if you already have a lot of knowledge/experience. But, don't plan to work your way up in this company - long term.

Cons

Like many large corporations, sometimes being large is a drawback, because they're not as nimble and quick to react to market changes. Also, HR dept and senior management at S&N often give employees "lip service" - basically telling them what they want to hear, and making rosey future predictions that never come to life. Goals / direction seems to change too often, every year. Need to make a plan and focus. Base pay for some roles is lower than similar companies in this area.

Pros

My first 3 months at the company have been nothing short of exceptional! I'm loving every second of being able to work in not just a fun and rewarding field, but also at a company that has showered me with support since I accepted the job offer. My territory is awesome, and I have tremendous teachers that are instilling 20+ years of experience into me. Team members from other territories have also proactively reached out wanting to help and answer any questions that I have (and I've had a lot being new to the industry). I've got all the support and resources I could ask for, and I'm just excited that I get the opportunity to improve and contribute every day.

Cons

I have no Cons at S+N.
