Pros

Down to earth coworkers on all shifts. Willingness to train new people. Nights are laid back if you know what you're doing. No troublemakers. Solid pay and hours for area with alternating weekends.

Cons

Quality of training can be a crapshoot depending on shifts and people. Very overwhelming CNC hands on training for newbies, they dont let on how difficult it can be. An ungodly amount of walking and alarms, will cause eventual burn out. Work balance issues because of 12 hours. Not much advancement past operator, most guys are waiting in line hoping for better spots that may never come.
