Pros

The few pros would be the "few pros" who actually have kept on there. There are VERY few of them. The best of them are sullen, the worst? Well, let your imagination fly.

Cons

Would take a website unto itself... but wait, that would be the SmithGroupJJR website. Poor pay and understaffing, excuse me, non-existent staffing and actually considering movie "coupons" as part of a benefit package... COUPONS!!!. Shady business between the partners, an associate level that either was born there or slept there, and staff that would make "Office Space" look extremely functional.

Pros

SmithGroup has excellent benefits and bonuses for all employees. There are endless opportunities to advance and learn from very knowledgeable colleagues. The Financial District office location is great and has an open studio floor plan which invites cross-communication.

Cons

SmithGroup is a very large firm. It is highly competitive and lacks a sense of job security. The firm does not make internal training, IDP or ARE a priority, but expects each employee to acquire knowledge and licensure. The design aesthetics are good, but not as great as they could be with the talent there.
