Oh boy, where to begin. First of all, why did Smokey Point get a higher rating on Glassdoor. Hmmmm.. I know how. The business development team at Smokey Point would ask employees on the spot to write a good review, making it sound better than it is. The management is a joke and it's awful how they treat their nurses and staff. They are always extremely unstaffed but yet again they don't firing people on the fly. The old CEO would fire a few people just to intimate the staff and put fear into the employees mind. That's unfair and downright wrong. As far as safety to the staff, you get no support from upper management. Solid wood chairs? Really? At a mental hospital. I've seen patient easily break those into pieces and threatening staff and on top of it's pretty easy to shatter the windows. They does shatter like a car window where is shatters into tiny little pieces, I'm talking about LARGE glass pieces. VERY UNSAFE TO STAFF and for the PATIENTS. If you see a good reviews, it's fake. Trust me.
