Pros

great managers, decent salary, excellent technology; the opportunity to be a part of a successful, industry-disrupting company

Cons

the more the job became more specialized, the more mundane and repetitive. at the end, it felt like pushing one button over and over again. really soul sucking

Pros

A small amount of the people that are here are decent people to play video games with in the break room. That's all.

Cons

Where to begin? Let's start with management within the CSO branch of the company. Generally incompetent and willfully ignorant about the morale and attitudes of their employees. Have no motivational skills beyond punishment for not living up to unrealistic expectations of production. The few times a person with decent managerial and interpersonal skills has been made into a manager they have been demoted, over less skilled managers, because the droves of people that are quitting or are being fired means there aren't nearly enough people to fill the CSO floor. Despite there being a major shortage of staff, and a massive push to always be doing more and hitting higher number: you will not be rewarded for hard work, you will be asked to do more with less time off because there is, of course, no coverage. You will not be promoted, and in the unlikely event that you are promoted the work load is added to and the raise in remuneration is laughable. It's been mentioned in other reviews, but bears mentioning again; the whole dystopian timed bathroom break thing is dehumanizing, but god forbid our managers and the almighty and incompetent QA lose some avenue to time you and dock you for having bodily functions rather than making phone calls.

Pros

Their checks don't bounce

Cons

So many of these 5 star reviews are FAKE, which is extremely on brand for this company as they are essentially blowing smoke, hot air, lies, BS, distortions, and false equivalencies. They refer to themselves as a startup, which is laughable since they have corporatized dramatically (they have over 600 employees) and earn millions per year on top of their venture series funding. They get you in the door working there using a bait and switch tactic regarding your duties and expectations in the role. They also will tell you that they love to promote internally, which again, is completely false. If you want to work in the same position for 2-4 years before getting a minor promotion and an even smaller pay raise, then this is your place. The joke around the office used to be that if you kiss up to the right people you can be promoted to Acct Mgmt where you essentially do nothing. The work space and culture is TOXIC, filled with back stabbing coworkers and micro managing from all directions. No one outside of Support will know your name or ever care to know you because hemorrhage talent. Get used to hearing COVERAGE, GET IN THE QUEUE, and "Why are your numbers down today?" every single day (including Saturdays and Sundays). If you work in the Ops dept you will never be looked upon as a real/integral part of the company, only an identity-less drone thrown at an unsolvable problem. I think eventually they will scrap the entire support aspect of their product and focus solely on tech.
