Big company pretending to be a startup

I have not observed positive worth mentioning. I guess if you are in sales, this is a good company to work for?

Cons

You will work crazy hours for a startup level salary and at the same time have to handle all the nonsense that comes with big companies (compliance, security, immutable policies, etc...). Everything is sales driven, so even very senior engineers have no input into roadmaps. The approach that senior management seems to have for engineering talent is Acquire - Use - Discard.

Some nice and clever colleagues.

Cons

- lots of pressure and long hours leading to stress and anxiety, burnout is a commonplace - toxic leadership/management, frequent massive firings, top heavy, micromanagement, no transparency, managers avoiding talking about negative feedback - direction is all over the place. Product idea is good but not up to the frenzy created for the sole reason of grabbing investors money - compensation below average, perks not very competitive - they misrepresent the nature of work during interviews. In my case they hid a big part of my responsibilities which if I knew beforehand I wouldn't have joined
