Pros

Overall compensation package is market competitive. One of my favorite parts being the very low cost for health care being pennies in comparison to others. Bonuses, employee stock purchase, and cash LTI are all things that have been particularly appealing to me. Our overall strategy as a company and consistent year over year performance makes me feel proud to work for a company that is forward thinking and making a positive mark on the industry. The possibility for professional growth is constant and career advancement very realistic. Lastly, we are currently still on a hybrid WFH schedule which is why I've rated work/life balance so high.

Cons

No company is perfect and like most enhancing communication across various business partners would be the one thing I'd call out. However, communication within SoFi is still at minimum 2-3 times better than the last company I worked for which was one of the top 5 banks.

Pros

Leadership is terrific in fact this best I have seen in my 20 year career. They welcome open and honest feedback and are some of the most brightest individuals I have work for. The culture here is unmatched.

Cons

Not many to speak of we are relatively new in the mortgage space so there are still opportunities to grow as a company but do not see this a negative. But rather a space for the individuals who have the applicable experience to apply themselves.

Pros

Growth opportunities at SoFi are great, especially if you’re based in the San Francisco office. I had a great experience as an intern and was lucky to return full-time after graduation. The hiring process was smooth, and the recruiting team regularly hosts events and makes new grad hires feel very welcome. Even as a new grad, I get the chance to work closely with leadership and collaborate across different teams. There’s always something new to learn. The culture here is fast-paced, with several projects each quarter. Since my team is relatively small, I have the freedom to take ownership of projects and lead initiatives. The broader team/org has some really talented folks and I'm lucky to learn from them!

Cons

There has been a relatively high turnover rate in management within our specific org, especially in the last few months. This has been leading to frequent organizational changes and shifting priorities.
