Pros

SoFi has an incredibly inclusive culture both in diversity and in the spirit of taking care of each other. The SoFi mission "Help our customers get their money right" puts a huge emphasis on people first. That mentality leaks in a productive way into engineering. They take great care of their engineers in general.

Cons

Lack of clarity on policies can lead to miscommunication between upper management, your manager, and you. They will aggressively remove you should you move laterally in the same sector.

Thank you for leaving a review of your experience; we're disappointed to hear your time with us didn't meet your expectations. We agree that we work with some pretty incredible people who are deeply committed to shaping a brighter financial future for our members. That being said, we're disheartened to hear that your experience with leadership was not positive. We have started to roll out training for leaders at SoFi that gives them the tools to foster inclusion and belonging on their team, plus helps them build their personal leadership brand. Our goal is to give all managers the tools they need to support and inspire their teams to do the best work of their lives.
