Pros

Co-worker are great, free food in the break room.

Cons

This company is so unorganized and treat employees like they are children. I had been in the financial industry for over 5 years and moved over to SoFi, It was a huge mistake. They micromanage so much, they won't let you talk on the floor (you literally get shushed by someone walking around) I was promised to work 8-5 in the interview, and once 5 weeks of very disorderly training was completed they said I needed to go to a 1:45-10:30 shift. they finally moved me to the morning shift (after me showing them countless emails stating the hours I agreed to they gave me the early shift (5:00-1:30) so still really awful hours. this place has horrible moral and worse management that they try to cover it up as hip and cool.

Pros

Free lunch at LDAC dining. Decent benefits with subsidized gym options. Location is on Presidio grounds with view of the golden gate bridge. Disruptive space which means good amount of opportunities to carve your own career path due to a lot of things being the "first" time.

Cons

Company culture is non-existent with little effort by execs and managers to change that. Favoritism tactics rule in marketing, while nepotism is the standard in engineering even at the executive level. No formal review process. Many have been let go without notice for no apparent reason which is normal to some extent, but in some instances the optics were extremely unsettling. While this may seem normal from a business standpoint, this has crippled moral in the company and more importantly distracted team members forming close team bonds in order to do their best work and be truly collaborative.

Free lunch, some cool co-workers, decent pay for the area.

Cons

Lack of leadership, disorganization, like to break up teams for no real reason.
