Pros

- Great fully paid benefits for you and your family

Cons

- No yearly merit based raises (you only receive a raise upon getting a promotion) - Random promotion system, based on who you know, not what you know or your experience

Pros

Great, hardworking coworkers. I lot of knowledge is gained by working within the small startup of SoFi Money.

Cons

The managers aren’t really present unless they need to reprimand the team. They don’t really listen to ideas coming from the team. Communication is a major pain point for the company. It seems all positions outside of tech within the company are grossly underpaid and expected to take on double and triple the workload without question.

We're glad to hear that you were inspired by the people you worked with and it sounds like you had some great learning opportunities. As we've grown so quickly, we're actively working on communication across the company and we certainly welcome all employees' ideas.

Pros

-Benefits -Lunch Card -Good learning experience. Helped me understand what I want in a career.

Cons

-Poor Work/Life balance for Non-Exempt employees (4 observed holidays off per year) -Allows low quality employees to beat the system and continue to receive favorable scheduling causing hardworking, loyal employees to receive an unfavorable schedule. This will and has driven good employees to leave the company. -Direct supervision can very rude and unwilling to help. You should be able to be to ask your supervisor questions, not be scared and publicly chastised when doing so. -Terrible, terrible interdepartmental communication from the top to the bottom. New products and major changes are rolled out with little, or in most cases, no notice. Customers should not be aware of what’s going on before your own employees.
