Pros

At least they did not start the layoff yet. That is it!

Cons

Management is terrible, the risk and ops team is so terrible. They are so arrogant. Leader from risk and ops was requesting to know what everyone is doing on daily basis. I was wondering should I report how much time I used to go to restroom. SoFriday is another joke. Engineering team needs to work the butt out, and the risk and ops team are all disappeared. If you don’t finish the work, then the upcoming week will be asked why it takes so long. Avoid it as the culture is fake.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review - we see feedback as a gift that will help us improve the employee experience, so thank you. That said, we're very sorry to hear working at SoFi isn't meeting your expectations. Your comments are not indicative of the culture or work environment we are trying to build. We know building a great culture starts with excellent leaders, and we're doubling down on manager excellence this year - it's our learning and development team's #1 focus area for 2023. We'll be working with individual leaders (including Engineering, Risk & Operations) to create customized L&D programs that will help develop great leaders and foster career development within their respective organizations. If you'd like to discuss further, you can reach out to us at glassdoor@sofi.org. Take care.

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

- There is a lot of misleading information that the company provides - Incompetent management, problems with leadership and upper levels - Benefits are poor - Culture is completely fake, only good at marketing - HR is dead - Extremely toxic - finger point and micro-management culture, working together seems impossible. Inexperienced people got promoted. - No career growth opportunities - Disorganized, consistently changing priorities Overall it feels like the worst parts of a startup combined with the worst parts of a dinosaur finance company.
