Pros

Theres not much positive. It seemed good at first but was far from what I thought. Good benefits are about the only thing good about this place.

Cons

I have no clue how I'm doing and neither does my manager. No one knows how they are doing until bonus time. Reports and scorecards are always messed up. The schedule and demands is just not worth it. The turnover is worse than any place I've ever worked.

Pros

Great Benefits Free Meals Great Peers Cool Company From the Outside

Cons

I have had a few months to think about my time away from Sofi. I saw that no decision in operations was ever really well thought out. Knee jerk decisions every day caused undo burdens on staff. Goals were unreasonable and managers had a dazed look on their face after coming out of meetings with upper management. My manager was a very good person, but asks on them were unreasonable and caused great burden. Attrition was high. Morale was low when I was there. I know people there and things have not improved much. I liked what the company wanted to do, but it was getting lost in a sea of terrible decision making and fear. A company's culture eventually catches up with itself. I left because of school.

Pros

Great company to work for. Has excellent benefits. State of the art technology. You actually get to help people save money on their student loans, which is a great feeling. Great job for someone

Cons

NO work/life balance. Being a start up company, they are constantly changing procedures daily. Combined job titles w/ no extra compensation. Took away incentive to work on weekends, you use to get an automatic $100 a day for working weekends. Very stressful having to meet the numbers game, which changes constantly also.
