Pros

My coworkers are helpful and kind. It is clear to see that they care about their work and genuinely love helping their clients grow. The atmosphere is laid back and positive without compromising quality care. I feel good about the work that I do every day and feel supported to grow within the company. I get to work closely with amazing OTs and SLPs because of Soar's integrated model. I also get to see clients making HUGE gains in very short periods of time which is incredibly rewarding. I feel a genuine connection with our mission and believe we are making a difference.

Cons

Scheduling can be inconsistent and that's hard to plan for. The work can be pretty taxing emotionally and physically but that is to be expected in this field. Breaks can be challenging: some days you may get 5 breaks and other days it is hard to find one. Definitely important to advocate for yourself before you feel burnt out.

Thank you so much for providing this feedback. We are so glad to hear you enjoy working with the team and the atmosphere of our clinics. We are especially thrilled to hear about the growth of your clients! Our scheduling needs change due to client and employee availability (if either call out sick or are unable to make it to the center that day). We understand these changes can be hard to manage and appreciate your flexibility with this. We are always looking to improve processes to best serve our clients and employees. It is our priority to support our team members to the best of our ability throughout the growth of our company. Thank you again for your hard work and dedication to our clients! Please continue providing this feedback to our local teams so we can continue to provide the best support for our staff and clients.

Pros

I have worked at Soar for 2.5 years and am so excited we have opened our 10th center in the Denver metro area. As a former educator, it is amazing to see therapeutic services for children with ASD be delivered in such a compassionate, naturalistic, evidenced-based method that yields tremendous developmental growth. Our operations team is deeply dedicated to running efficient processes and implementing clear policies that empower our clinical team to drive swift skill acquistition for our clients.

Cons

We are only providing services in Arizona and Colorado. Hopefully, we will expand to more states in the future to increase accessibility of ESDM services.

Pros

I can say from the bottom of my heart that I have had the best experience at Soar over the past (almost) year. In leadership it's easy to feel like you're on an island, and I have not felt that for a single day of my time here. In addition to the deeply rewarding work that we get to be a part of each day, some other notable pros are: collaborative and innovative approaches to Autism treatment and care, interdisciplinary learning and collaboration opportunities, strong leadership support, professional development and growth structures with clearly defined paths to success, ability to provide feedback to leadership and see it implemented, incredible benefits and healthy salary (including a health insurance option with a $0 deductible).

Cons

I honestly love this position, and strongly feel that you get out of it what you put into it! As with any position in leadership, it is imperative to come in with an understanding that your effort, ability to connect with your team, and resiliency are core elements of success. It is a fast paced environment, but if you use the tools and supports that the company provides, you will be well set for success in the role.
