Pros

Soar provides high quality care to their kids. I appreciate their use of ESDM, because it allows for naturalistic play and empathy. They have a high emphasis on support and are constantly asking for employee feedback. You receive full time benefits if you work at least 30hr/week, and there is time off. Soar provides lunches and snacks for RBT's and clinicians. Most of the management is receptive to feedback and will do what they can to work with you. There are quarterly opportunities for promotions or pay raises.

Cons

Scheduling is very difficult. I would recommend starting at Soar with clear boundaries on what you need for your schedule, and if you have full availability, you will likely have gaps in your day. They will attempt to fill it with coverage, but some weeks there are higher staffing levels than others. There is a high turnover rate which can be overwhelming. The company is relatively new, so policies and processes throughout the company change every couple of months to attempt to be more efficient, so it is important to be adaptable to change.

Pros

Absolutely nothing. This was by far the worst place I have ever worked. I don’t normally write reviews but I felt like I should warn people. Please save the tears, panic attacks, and stress for something that actually matters.

Cons

Terrible work life balance. And this is a CLINIC. That is the one perk of working at a clinic, you can work a normal 9-5. Soar expects you to stay late or come early some days and if you don’t it is held against. My PC was by far the worst person I’ve ever worked with. A PC should be your mentor and guide you through struggles. She was demeaning, inappropriate, and made you feel terrible if you’re not stressing yourself out to “provide to the company”.
