Call Center Position

Pros

The only pro was it was a telework position until Donald Trump got into Office and now we are mandated back in office and I hate this job.

Cons

First off when I applied, I did not know that I would be in a call center type position. You are on the phone taking inbound calls all day. People complaining because they owe money to Social Security so you get cursed out all day and dealing with other people’s problems. The pay is not good. You can’t move up in this position, you’re stuck at a GS 6. At this point, everything is a con you only get a 30 minute lunch break and you’re on the phone all day with two 15 minute breaks. Nine out of 10 I do not recommend.
