      Pros

      There are so many different benefits to this job that you probably won't be able to get elsewhere. Ample time off or opportunities to earn additional time off, opportunities for overtime, and it really allows you to enjoy your outside life with both time and money.

      Cons

      The cons here is that there is no personal accountability for employees. The mid management within the PC have no real control over employee behavior, upward mobility, or at times it seems disciplinary actions. In addition, to this there is no real set leadership track or mentor relationships available past your initial training experience. The training is not conducive to retain all the information given.

      Laid back environment. Easy to take leave as needed. Friendly employees.

      Cons

      Promotional opportunity is weak. Advancement becomes increasingly political at higher levels (> 12) of the GS pay scale.
