Pros

Personal time off, vacation & holiday pay....decent pay. Getting 2/3 days off every 2/3 days (if not mandated for OT).

Cons

Going from nights to days and days to nights every 2 weeks. Bad ownership and management. Cheap equipment, poorly engineered, and lack of tools needed that are supposed to be supplied by the company.
