Great work environment. Loved the employees.

Cons

The money they say you can make is not possible.

Pros

Friday they have a BBQ, they have internal activities like a football league and other sports.

Cons

They are extremely misleading to both employees and their customers. They promised a base pay but then said that what they promised is only if you hit 100% of your potential bonuses. That's not a base pay, that's total compensation. They run the place like a day care, they actually do role call each and every morning. The managers don't know what they are doing and just take direction from upper management. I researched and found out the owner was arrested about 7-8 years ago for fraud related charges. You are not allowed to have a cell phone in your possession within the buildings and if you are caught with a phone you will receive a threat and possibly termination. The managers are not organized, the one time I was sick they claimed they didn't receive the voice mail I left advising them I would be out sick.

Pros

The other employees were really the best reason to be there. The company did invest a lot of time - and unnecessary money - in company functions like BBQ's and flag football and things along those lines which could be fun.

Cons

They lie in their advertisements about how much money you make. There may be "potential" to make that much but I don't know a single solitary person who makes as much as is listed in the job postings. This is across the board - not just for copywriters. They constantly restructure pay scales in the companies favor and take away from the employees. Money is invested in things the company doesn't need, like drones to record the flag football games. That's really not necessary. Almost all meetings address the fact that communication needs to be streamlined yet it never is. People are encouraged to speak out about issues they have concerns about yet risk being fired for doing so. Favoritism runs rampant. The company likes to hire young 20somethings who are attractive and let go of those who don't fit that image. If you stay within the company and aren't early to mid 20's and aren't super attractive then you must be really good at your job otherwise there's no benefit to keeping you in the company. They also have people, while on the clock at work, log into this website, and post positive reviews about the company. I should know because I was one of those people who was ordered to do it by my manager.
