Pros

The people are generally kind and supportive. The compensation is low, but the occasional bonus, SPIF, or free happy hour takes the edge off of the overall low pay.

Cons

Salary starts low and stays low as you get promoted. The sales operations are reminiscent of a 10 person company. Terrible sales data, no warm leads, awful customer-facing website.

Pros

Good healthcare coverage Pizza and beer a lot of colored walls and T-shirts Great place to learn about technology and then quit for a better job. The Marketing and PR team is very active in cleaning up the reputation of the company with their politically correct approach.

Cons

Not straightforward performance metrics and bonuses. More people getting fired than people getting hired, Your main source of motivation at work will be the hope they won't fire you that week. Think of your manager as a supervisor, they won't block the heat coming down.
