Average staffing company

Pros

Good base Salary and great commission plan. Very flexible work life balance for a staffing company. Good government I think that will grow

Cons

Small margin deals, not enough business is focused in Boston which is where they are located. You would think that would be the first location to ingratiate themselves wit

Thank you for your feedback. I agree with you that while we have built a strong National presence we have a lot of work ahead of us to capitalize on a great Boston market. We have some exciting plans in 2018 to do just that and I encourage you to come talk to me about it. Would be happy to share what we have in store and would love to see you be a part of that effort. Thanks again.

Horrible experience as a contractor!!

Pros

I was placed in an environment with wonderful people, none of them affiliated with Softworld. Acquired many professional contacts and gained some really good skills.

Cons

Was completely misled and lied to about the specifics of the contract and the benefits associated with it. I received poor compensation and zero pto / vacation time. Softworld claims to have grown 100% this past year but neglects to even provide a single hour of paid time off to the people making money for them. What's worse is the misinformed recruiters feeding potential candidates blatant lies. This type of unethical behavior is lawsuit worthy. Softworld is the type of company you hear about on the news that won't provide hard working people paid sick time or time off to take care of sick kids. Softworld claims to follow family values and take care of employees...my experience was the complete opposite. I will never, ever work for a company like Softworld again. They provide zero incentive to work for them and do absolutely nothing to treat their clients like family. Softworld should be ashamed to even use the word "family" to describe their business.

I am so sorry to hear that your experience with Softworld did not meet your expectations. The Government Sector represents a significant piece of our business, and our Recruiting team receives extensive training on the ins and outs of government contract assignments. We have several employment options with varying Vacation/PTO policies depending on our consultant’s needs. Softworld is built on transparency with our consulting team and I apologize if we fell short of that goal. Our recruiters are ethical and are taught to be 100% honest and straight forward with our consultant base because we value each and every one of you. I would like to learn from your experience with us, and encourage you to call me directly. I’d be happy to speak with you. Kindest regards, Alaina Manning Director of Consultant Care 781-373-8411
