Pros
One of the most up to date and caring companies I have ever had the pleasure to be employed with. Management is top notch and that filters down all the way. The employees here are treated as humans and as family. When they tell you there is an "open door policy" they mean it. No matter who you need to speak to they will go out of their way to accommodate you. Management is constantly looking for ways to keep employees engaged and abreast of what is happening both in the company and in the industry. They do ask that you give 100% but they also give 100% in return. This is not a company where you will get lost in the crowd or just be a number. You are expected to contribute. Work life balance is really a commitment made by Dan and his management team, They provide a very good time off policy and even honor Veterans Day and veterans. Training is not just a word that is thrown around at Solairus. They are very committed to having their employees trained and keeping them trained.
Cons
Don't come here expecting to just slide by. It will not happen. You are a part of a team and everyone is expected to pull their own weight. Background and training checks are intense so you need to know what you are talking about. There is a reason they are the best as they only hire the best. Biggest complaint, if you want to call it that, is that you are not supplied with a corporate credit card for expenses. However, the system they have in place to reimburse you for those expenses is quite good but the money has to come out of your pocket first which can sometimes be quite an inconvenience..
