      The Wages are decent there. Should be better for the amount of work that gets completed every year.

      Pros

      Solar has a great work life balance and the employees are friendly. It is easy to move around to try new jobs out.

      Cons

      In the past 5 years, it has become quite bureaucratic with lots of red tape that prevents employees from feeling empowered to get things done. From top leadership down to middle management, there is not cohesive vision on where the company needs to grow and it is in danger of becoming stagnant and vulnerable.

      Good benefits; Profit sharing; Flexible working hours; A lot of opportunities to learn; Interesting product (gas turbine); Very organized hr and open-minded culture.

      Cons

      Cost saving due to gas turbine demand decrease; Slow growth if you don't know right people; Uncertain future for the gas turbine business; A lot of traveling abroad, i.e. poor work-life balance.
