Pros

Average benefits, They pay bare minimum salary. Their policy is to stress the sales out instead of motivating them.

Cons

Sales with extreme supervision Managers are not trained to motivate but to pressure Sale consultants turn around is huge Manager encourage to bribe (buy lunches, coffees) to the lead providers to get decent leads from Home Depot.

Pros

The people; my Channel Account Manager (CAM) is phenomenal. He always reached out to help coach, work with us on overcoming objections, and doing everything he can to help with your success. The colleagues are amazing, everyone is cool and helpful and positive with a very work hard play hard oriented atmosphere. Work parties are always a great time too. - You can make good money if you meet the 60 Opportunity/12 Close mark the want you to hit

Cons

Unrealistic expectations in a saturated market i.e. our region has slowed down substantially so management made our monthly minimum our weekly minimum. Tripling our quota does not magically mean we are going to increase sales.. Its 2016... In San Diego everyone and their mother has been pitched solar either by a cold call, door knocker, one of us, or some other means. People are sick of us trying to pitch them while they try to shop at best buy or Home Depot. - Rarely get weekends off - Pay is weak, they tell you its 30k base but its really 14.42/hr (27k @ 40hr work week before taxes) - Schedule rarely comes out on time (find out Saturday night if and where you're working Sunday) - A more accurate description of this job is "You are the person at the mall kiosk trying to sell something that everyone tries to avoid making eye contact with" - You are paid on closes, not leads generated; which means your commission is based on another employee hopefully doing their job well. If the job is cancelled they take back your commission. - Realistic promotion rate with good numbers is 6-8 months, not 3-4. - The socially inept excel in this position
