Pros
Other than knowing that you're helping to fight climate change and the world's dependence on fossil fuels, you'll hate your job after a month. The turn over rate is ridiculous. Even the manager who hired me left before my start date, putting me in limbo for a while. It's a miracle I made it 6 months.
Cons
As a Field Energy Specialist, SolarCity does not care about you. You're the scapegoat of the entire company. If sales are lacking, the blame is placed on you. Not the consultants, whose job it is to close contracts, and certainly not the management or directors, who don't do much of anything.
