We were out in the field away from the office permanently doing commercial work, the only time we saw management was when we'd raised enough cane that they felt obligated to come see us. They often put us in positions we shouldn't have been in. For instance safety wasn't always done to OSHA standards but we were expected to do the work regardless. They didn't pay us the bonuses we'd been promised, and they're excuse was continually "we're working on it." Then they slashed our hours without warning, and didn't pay us for the time we worked. We were a traveling crew, and sometimes our per diem would show up late, or our rooms wouldn't be paid for and we had to do it for ourselves. Our emails went ignored. It definitely felt like no one cares about us.
