Pros

Management created an environment where employees embraced the common goal of building a successful company. Good camaraderie amongst employees, but not necessarily with upper management.

Cons

The demands placed on the sales team were insane. Sales reps were constantly under very high pressure to bring in more and more sales and the pressure was basically threat of job loss. These demands were not done over the typical sales forecasting periods like annually, quarterly or even monthly, but management demanded weekly and then daily forecasts from the team. Way too much micromanagement in this area and ALWAYS threatened to put people on performance plans (i.e. threat of being fired). In fact, many salespeople are fired on an ongoing basis to the point that turnover has become detrimental to the company as a whole. Sales teams are expected to be working 70-80 hours per week including weekends and into the evenings, often coming home from appointments at 10PM!

Pros

They like to think it is a fun place to work.

Cons

In my 10 years of sales experience I have never been asked to work that hard for he amount of money they pay you. In the interview they will sell you on how great the company is and how reps here make over $100k a year. Which is not the case an average rep there makes $40k a year if you make it to a year. There is a very high turn over. The product they want you to sell is most expensive in the industry and is not even close to the best. They will want you to drink the company juice and get of the "we are the best ship", but its smoke and mirrors. It is a 2 week training for a reason, if you actually learned about the products and what the competition is selling you will have a hard time selling this product to your friends and family. If this is your first sales gig or you only option for employment do it till you find something better, but this is not a company that you can build a career with. Good luck

Pros

Young, fresh out of college employees with little to no experience, great first job with potential for growth.

Cons

Pays lowest 10th percentile in industry and Bay Area and this is coming from someone who worked closely with HR dept. Most roles start at $35-$40k and senior managers don't come close to 6 figure salaries. Does not retain employees as reflected in high turnaround rate.
