Pros

I am passionate about our mission and feel I am doing good every day,

Cons

This is an operations company, not a professional sales organization. I have been a part of Fortune 100 sales organizations, and this felt like I was a Cutco salesperson with a meager base salary. They offered me their Field Energy Consultant position after our entire division was eliminated and we were given a deadline to accept the positions offered or a severance. Once I agreed and the deadline passed, they drastically lowered my commission structure and base salary to a non-livable amount without ANY kind of notice or explanation. I literally just noticed the amount was lower in my bank account. Commissions for a LOT of work run around $240-604. Seriously?! The opportunity to be successful just does not seem to be there. There are a few exceptions that they tout, but even very smart and capable sales professionals are having difficulty succeeding. I have never gotten the sense that they do not care about individuals. Training was incredibly intense and I easily worked 70+ hours for required work outside of class and was only paid for 40. They also never reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for training, required travel, etc.

Pros

Some of the best co-workers I've ever worked with.

Cons

Dishonest about compensation, boys club (they only promote friends), management has no clue whats happening in the offices, employees work OT without getting paid (but are threatened to be fired if they don't show up on holiday's and or stay longer than 8 hours a day), become one of the most stressful places I have ever worked. Many employees stuck it out because they were promised when Tesla bought them out it would get better, instead, Tesla has dramatically downsized and continues to downsize. The Roseville office housed over 500 employees and is now being completely shut down

Pros

Fun environment, good people, easy job.

Cons

Management sometimes didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. Office is now closing down and although they always said it wasn't happening like that, downsizing effected a lot of people.
