      Pros

      It's hard to overstate how cool it is to work here. Superior business model; cutting edge technology; elite personnel. People seem genuinely happy, probably because they are invested in the cause of clean energy, and they believe in the business model. There is an incredible culture that encourages teamwork, ambition, and groundbreaking performance.

      Cons

      A company growing this fast hits some start-up style challenges.

      Pros

      There used to be many good reasons to work at SolarCity before they went public. Mostly is was great people working around you. Since going public it has become one of the worst places to work I have ever experienced. The metrics focused company now treats its employees like a number.

      Cons

      The pay is lower across the board than similar industries. There is no leadership anymore. If you like passing the buck around then you will love working here. The installers are the best group of people in the company, but they are overworked and constantly asked to "do more" with no increase in pay. The corporate level people are insincere and fake. They like to spend any chance of profit flying around the country patting themselves on the back.

      Pros

      Great training, you control your schedule, lots of potential to make serious $$$$, and the benefits and way above average. They take care of their people and reward you for a job well done. Two thumbs up!

      Cons

      If you are lazy and like to complain about hard work, this isn't the job for you. This is for hungry and aggressive sales people! Nothing less.
